Caring for babies from 6 weeks old, we work closely with you as your child settles into the room. We will follow your home routine, to provide consistency for your child with feeding and sleeping and our team will build a close relationship with you so that you will have peace of mind when you drop your baby off at nursery.
At nursery, your child will benefit from a room designed to help their development as they grow.
Younger babies are able to enjoy our quiet, cosy area with toys and displays to stimulate them and encourage their curiosity. Older babies can enjoy free play, promoting their social skills and satisyfying their inquisitive minds.
Activities are organised on a daily basis, and are planned based around your child's individual progress and needs.
We follow the Development Matters in the Early Years Foundation Stage, which helps to stimulate and promote all areas of development through exploration and experimentation.
In a safe and secure environment, your child is able to grow in a place full of attention and stimulation, supported by a committed and devoted team of nursery nurses who are specifically trained for this age group.
Our staff are based in the room permanently to provide your child with consistency and continuity. Your child will have a dedicated key person, who will know their individual needs and what makes them unique. This person will build a close relationship with you as we care for your child so that you have a friendly face to talk to in the nursery.
Meal times are an opportunity for social development and children sit at the small table to eat, with chairs and low highchairs available as appropriate.
We will always follow your child's ever-changing feeding routine at home and will fully cooperate with the weaning process. We provide cow's milk formula and parents are welcome to provide breast milk. Our nursery cook produces delicious, freshly prepared meals on site for older children.
We have a dedicated sleeping area with cots, which provides a quiet and relaxing place for our babies to sleep during the day. Working with you, we will follow your child's sleeping routine at home to ensure consistency.
You child is allocated their own linen, which is provided by the nursery and you are welcome to provide your child's own comforter if needed.
